Analysis

Design

During the Analysis phase, we invest time, efforts and energies to study the objective and goal of the project. This phase is generally discussion-heavy and is characterised by a lot of to and fro of the information and brainstorming meetings among the participative entities - the client team, project team members and other stakeholders and associates. Towards the end of this phase, we crystallize the time required, costs involved and scope depending on the software development methodology used.

We, at Adrixus, follow a well-defined and structured process for design. It encompasses a step by step method to build a visual appeal and a user journey that helps transmit client’s business concept to its audience.

The process starts with ‘defining the problem’ by gathering the ground information related to your product, understanding the competitive advantage and the benefits users derive. This is followed by ‘identifying the end-user persona’ – their drive to use the solution, their pain areas, their expectations and their interaction with the solution. Both the aforementioned steps – defining the problem and identifying the user persona – involve a series of Q&A session with the client team.

The next step is ‘digital wireframing’ to generate initial sketches. The digital wireframes serve as a blueprint (typically 2D and b/w) of the design architecture providing an understanding of layout of components on the screen for your digital asset. It also helps define how the user would interact with the interface. Once the wireframes are okayed, we proceed to create visual designs.

During the designing phase, taking the wireframes as a base we aim to build thevisual appeal as well as the user journey keeping in mind the brand identity, user goals and the intuitive navigation. Various design elements viz. colour, scale, typography, texture are explored, chosen and balanced to create a design that hooks the user attention, engages them and drives them through the journey.

These designs are then shared first internally and then with the client for feedback and refinement. The team explores multiple exercises with the stakeholder to achieve the desired look, feel and the user-experience.

Development

Design

The diverse skill set of our engineering team ensures our clients can leverage the latest blockchain, web and mobile technologies.

Development is the most action-packed phase. To keep it structured, smooth and controlled, we adopt a prototype driven process and follow an iterative development practice that allows us to build, test and learn. We follow the agile development methodology. This means we arrange our work around two-week sprints, plan and review it continuously throughout the development phase. We conduct daily stand-up meetings with the team involved so that the stakeholders are apprised of the progress as well as the challenges encountered.

A structured release at the end of every sprint allows client to have a clear picture of the stage the project is at.

Testing

We acknowledge and understand that once your digital assets are in the building phase it is imperative to have them audited before pushing them for deployment and launch. It is during the testing phase that the solution (a website or a web application) developed is tested against the requirements. A thorough Quality Analysis procedure allows us to not only identify and fix the gaps timely, but also protects the brand.

Our rigid protocol for QA incorporates several layers including functionality testing, usability testing, performance and load testing, speed testing as well as the cross browser testing. We shoulder complete responsibility to provide you a solution that works equally well with all your users and is compatible with the platforms they use.

We always budget in time and efforts for an extensive testing process right at the onset. Defect identification and rectification is taken seriously and we test your digital assets like our own. So, you can rest assured about the quality of anything that reaches your desk from the Adrixus pavilion.

After the solution reasonably passes QA tests and client approvals are attained, it is time for launch.

Deployment And Launch

Design

After the design, development and QA comes the show-time, which is the much anticipated launch. During this phase we push approved elements to a live environment providing access to larger group of stakeholders, plan post production support and gear up for the next phase of implementation. We follow three critical steps during this phase – Beta Launch, Hand-Off and Final Launch.

Since the deployment process recurrence frequency is high (almost every 2 week) due to the agile methodology, we automate it to make it quick, smooth and hassle-free. Our team of DevOps experts define the architecture to deploy the code to production servers faster and in a repeatable way. This also makes the deployment process immune to human errors.

Post-Launch Review and Support

This stage largely constitutes the retrospection process. The project team huddles in to assess the success of the solution vis-à-vis the scope defined. All documents and other assets related to the project are then archived; lessons learnt are discussed & documented and the project comes to a formal closure.

A post-launch follow up is generally a neglected area, but not with Adrixus. We ensure a smooth hand-over process after a successful completion. And it doesn’t end here. We remain completely receptive to addressing any post-production issues as and when reported and provide support as needed.
